Amnesia Announces Huge Opening Party Lineup

Amnesia, home to the world’s most famous dance floor, has announced the date and location of its legendary Opening Party for the 2022 season. Marcel Dettmann, Nina Kraviz, Eats Everything, Jamie Jones, Maceo Plex, Seb Zito, Archie Hamilton, Marco Faraone, Caal, La La, and the club debuts of Lilly Palmer and Patrick Mason, who are part of a new wave of talent brought in by Amnesia for this year, will provide the soundtrack for the official start of the Amnesia season on May 21. The festivities begin at 6 p.m. on an exclusive stage and continue until 12 p.m.

The Amnesia opening is the best party ever. The first dance is a tradition for music fans all throughout the world, therefore there is always an exciting and frantic vibe. New technological advancements for this season will individualize your experience both inside and outside the club, connecting you to a new world, and making this year’s opening party the most anticipated since before the pandemic.

That’s why they’ve gone all out to secure a stellar lineup of house and techno’s finest, from up-and-coming artists to seasoned veterans making a triumphant comeback, and everyone in between.

Marcel Dettmann and Lilly Palmer’s chunky and stripped-down takes on techno will have you on the dance floor, while Nina Kraviz’s signature style is an explosive mashup of acid, breaks, and IDM. Eats Everything, a fan of the low end, will play back to back with fellow big room maestro and crucial techno selector Marco Faraone. Then there’s the cutting-edge tech house from modern favorite Archie Hamilton, as well as the groove-driven garage, breaks, and dub house maestro Seb Zito.

Magic will also be provided by La La, the stage name of Lauren Andrew, a DJ and curator originally from Glasgow who has since relocated to London and is making waves with a massive Boiler Room set and a string of sold-out headline shows around the UK. Like La La, German-born up-and-comer Patrick Mason is poised to rule the summer with his innovative techno. In addition to being one half of the hybrid live techno duo SRVD and a regular face at Berghain, one of the world’s most prominent techno clubs, he also works as a creative director, designer, illustrator, model, and influencer in Berlin.

Longtime residents Mar-T, Caal, and Pyramid mainstay Luca Donzelli know the club and crowd like no one else and are sure to thrill, and more from Mason will ensure you can’t stop dancing during Maceo Plex’s extended set, which will find him going deep into his own melodic and cosmic techno world.
