Amnesia Ibiza welcomes Claptone’s ‘The Masquerade’ into a new era

Just a heads up, ravegoers: Ibiza’s most enthralling house music event is starting a new chapter this summer. The return of ‘The Masquerade,’ a renowned and one-of-a-kind event on the White Isle of Ibiza, is being announced by the legendary nightclub Amnesia and the enigmatic DJ and producer Claptone. This event promises to be more enchanting and mysterious than ever before.

Claptone and ‘The Masquerade’ have made Ibiza their spiritual home when they moved there in 2018. Amnesia was the birthplace of “The Masquerade” takeovers, according to Claptone : “I am excited to return to Amnesia this year as it’s where I started ‘The Masquerade‘ in Ibiza – so it’s a sort of a homecoming for me! I can’t wait to return for another unforgettable season on the White Isle!”

This is monumental news for the island, since one of its most popular parties is moving to the Amnesia Terrace, one of its most famous clubs, every Tuesday.

World exclusive B2Bs from Purple Disco Machine, Diplo, Wade, and Fatboy Slim were showcased on ‘The Masquerade,’ which just had its most successful and attended season to date. Shows in cities including Mexico City, Malaga, Medellin, Miami, and Manchester were sold out, demonstrating the brand’s effectiveness in expanding Ibiza to other parts of the globe. Notable past performers include Armand Van Helden, Vintage Culture, John Summit, MK, James Hype, Dom Dolla, Faithless, and Pete Tong, among others.

Joined by Amnesia and HE.SHE.THEY. in the main room, ‘The Masquerade’ is preparing for a new era with new artists, amazing production, and theatrics that will draw on the club’s rich Ibizan history. Claptone’s renowned musical selections and DJ sets are sure to be crowd pleasers.

On Tuesday nights at the Amnesia Terrace, you can dance away from reality to Claptone’s enchanting universe, embodying the masked DJ’s heavenly music.
