Eric Prydz Holosphere 2.0 has officially arrived in Ibiza, delivering the most advanced holographic concert ever witnessed on the island. Taking over the brand-new UNVRS venue every Monday from June 2 to September 1, 2025, Prydz’s show fuses music, light, and next-gen visuals into an experience that defies categorization.
This is more than a concert. It’s a living, breathing digital organism shaped in real-time by one of electronic music’s most forward-thinking artists.
To give fans a deeper look into the creative process, Prydz has released the first chapter of a brand-new three-part documentary on his official YouTube channel. Shot entirely in Ibiza, the series takes you behind the curtain of Holosphere 2.0 — from initial sketches and storyboards to the high-tech rehearsals and final execution.

Eric Prydz Holosphere 2.0 isn’t just an upgrade — it’s a reinvention. Towering over 8 meters tall and weighing more than 8 tonnes, the Holosphere consists of three transparent LED layers that surround Prydz in a 360-degree performance zone. These screens project fully reactive, high-definition holograms that shift and evolve in response to Prydz’s live mixing.
Unlike pre-sequenced visual shows, Holosphere 2.0 is improvised in real-time. It mirrors the DJ’s energy, mood, and music with live-reactive CGI and lighting effects — making every show one of a kind.
“We’ve waited six years to build this. The technology finally caught up with the vision,” says Eric Prydz.
Purpose-built to house Holosphere 2.0, UNVRS Ibiza is a next-generation nightclub engineered to handle the demands of large-scale, high-tech productions. Conceived by The Night League, creators of Ushuaïa and Hï Ibiza, the venue blends an arena-style infrastructure with cutting-edge audiovisual hardware.
The main room features:
An ultra-high ceiling rig for massive structural builds
A custom lighting grid designed specifically for the Sphere
L-Acoustics spatial audio systems for full-frequency clarity
Projection mapping zones for immersive floor-to-ceiling visuals
UNVRS isn’t just a club — it’s part of the Holosphere 2.0 performance. Every wall, beam, and rigged light plays a role in amplifying the sensory experience.
To execute the ambitious visual plan, Prydz enlisted GMUNK, the legendary digital artist behind films like TRON: Legacy, and production company High Scream, known for their work with international superstars.
Together, they built a custom catalog of holographic visuals using real-world effects:
Giant crystal spheres
Plasma discharges
Burning glass shards
Liquid light distortions
These were captured with 360° cameras, layered with CGI, then laser-mapped onto the LED screens. Each loop is its own immersive digital sculpture, designed to blur the line between physical and virtual space.
More than just an EDM event, Eric Prydz Holosphere 2.0 is a statement of what’s possible when music, imagination, and technology unite. It doesn’t follow a fixed storyline. It evolves with each track, each drop, each twist in the set. The result is a living, emotional experience that connects the crowd with something bigger than sound.
