Paul van Dyk and Ciaran McAuley collaborate on the new recording “Someone Like You”

Paul van Dyk and Ciaran McAuley’s new collaboration, “Someone Like You,” is a transcendent and euphoric tune out on VANDIT Records.

An immediate classic, “Someone Like You” has van Dyk’s distinctive thundering 4/4 rhythm throughout, paving the way to inner peace with gorgeous atmospheres and tingling synthesizers. This is the pinnacle of what may be called “emotional instrumental electronic music.”

For van Dyk, the release of “Someone Like You” couldn’t have come at a more propitious time. Recently, he opened the Ibiza season with SHINE Ibiza at Club Eden (where he also released the club’s official anthem song, “Beautiful Life”), and earlier this year, he introduced his innovative new VENTURE X tour concept, in which he curates an evening of the best trance, progressive house, and techno music from around the world. Van Dyk’s eagerly awaited studio album, Off The Record, will be followed by a slew of exciting new original releases and tour dates throughout the remainder of the summer.

Ciaran (pronounced Kier-ran) McAuley, an Irishman who is at the forefront of new talent breaking into the mainstream as a Producer/DJ and formerly as one half of the renowned trance duo Walsh & McAuley, is responsible for some of the most scene-seizing music to arrive in recent times. By releasing hit singles like “Together We Rise” by VANDIT and “All I Want” and “You and I,” he is winning over listeners and peers all around the world.

Throughout his busy festival schedule this summer, fans can see van Dyk playing the tune at events including Luminosity, Airbeat One, Sunrise Festival, Parookaville, Mind Festival, Nature One, Medusa, Mysteryland, Glücksgefühle, EDC China, and many more. When van Dyk and McAuley perform at SHINE Ibiza at Club Eden on September 21st, you can be sure that they will be playing the track.
